Pre-Match Report

After a promising 19-16 home victory for the Titans at the begining of the season Bedford evened the score with a victory at Goldington Road by a 37-10 margin in November with a hat-trick from Blues full-back Edd Thrower.

In the first leg of the play-offs at Clifton Lane The Titans went into the break with a 15-12 lead in an evenly balanced half. However Bedford put in a convincing second half performance with 46 unanswered points ending with a 15-58 victory.

After a defeat to Pirates last week Bedfords semi-final aspirations are not entirely in their own hands as a win for Doncaster at Pirates on Saturday and a Titans victory would see both the Pirates and Doncaster as the top 2 in the play-off table.

This promises to be a end of season showdown and we look forward to seeing our away supporters at Goldington Road on Saturday for a 3pm kick off.
