British & Irish Cup quarter finals

Rotherham Titans will face a stern test as they aim to qualify to the semi final stage of this years British & Irish Cup, after being drawn away to Championship side Bristol Rugby.

The fixture will take place on the weekend of April 4/5/6, with at this stage Sunday 6 April being the likely option. The winners of that match will have a home tie in the semi finals against the winners of Leeds Carnegie v Plymouth Albion.

Upon hearing the news on the draw, Titans head coach Lee Blackett commented, “There’s no easy team left in the competition and it’s going to be a mammoth task to go down there and get a result. However, we are excited to be at this stage of the tournament; we knew once we hadn’t got a home draw it was always going to be difficult to progress to the semi final stage. But as I’ve said we are excited and as always we’ll go there and give it our best shot.”
