Sean Scanlon signs on for another year
Rotherham Titans are delighted to announce that full back Sean Scanlon has penned a deal which will see him remain at Clifton Lane until the summer of 2015.
The 25 years-old, Limerick born and ex Munster man has made 17 appearances to date in his first season with the South Yorkshire side, scoring three tries.
Scanlon’s presence in the Titans back line has been one of the key successes this term; his field positioning, ability under the high ball, kicking out of hand and his intelligence to pick running lines are just some of his qualities which meant Head Coach Lee Blackett was thrilled when Sean decided to commit for next season.
Blackett explained, “I am enormously pleased that we’ll have Sean with us again next term. For me Sean is a Premiership player who brings so much to our game; he’s a true professional and I’m delighted that we’ll be working together for another season.”
