Titans say a big thank you to all involved with the Abbeydale game

Titans Chairman Nick Cragg has expressed his gratitude to all those involved in staging the highly successful Greene King IPA Championship game at Abbeydale last Saturday.

"I would like to thank the Abbeydale Sports Club, Sheffield Rugby Club and Sheffield Collegiate Cricket Club for their kind co-operation in staging our Yorkshire Regiment Trophy game. The hospitality offered made for a truly memorable occasion," said Nick Cragg.

"The game showed the true grit and character behind the Titans and would not have been possible without the tremendous efforts of our volunteers. Our Vice Presidents excelled at getting the ground ready and our volunteer stewards faced and overcame many challenges to ensure the day ran safe and smoothly."

Concluding, Nick Cragg added, "Our fans delivered the 'Shed in Sheffield' for the team. The attendance exceeded our hopes and the noise and the atmosphere generated was wonderful to behold. I know the fans roar gave a lift to all involved on the field and also to all those off the field who worked so hard to stage the game."
