Titans appoint Sports Rehabilitation Specialist
The Club is delighted to announce the appointment of Lindsay Whitaker as our Sports Rehabilitation Specialist.
Having previously been with the Club from 2003 to 2008, Lindsay returns with a wealth of experience.
In addition to the Titans, Lindsay’s rugby experience also includes running the Physiotherapy operations at Plymouth Albion for two years and has worked closer to home with Boston Rugby Club, Sandal RFC and Doncaster Knights, as well as undertaking voluntary work with Yorkshire County Rugby.
Having also helped with the medical teams at GB Women’s Basketball and also the Northern Ballet, Lindsay will be an invaluable asset to the Club.
At the same time we would like to express our sincere thanks to Andy Sweeney of the Rotherham Physiotherapy Centre and his colleagues David and Neil. They have looked after our players over a number of years making sure they were provided with the highest standard of medical treatment on and off the field. Due to the changes to the training structure and the additional time required at training venues Andy and his team were unable to take on the physiotherapy role this coming year.
We will always have close links with Andy and are sure we will see him in a more relaxed role at our home games this season.
