Rugby Festival & Family Fun Day at Clifton Lane

Rotherham Rugby Club proudly presents the O2 TOUCH Rugby Festival & Family Fun Day. The event will take place at Clifton Lane on Sunday 23rd September 2012, 10am to 5pm.

The event is a touch rugby festival which will also include during the day a BBQ and games and activities. The bar will be open and entry into the ground is free to all.

The event is looking for additional teams to enter this touch rugby competition, which is sure to be a terrific fun day out for all who take part.

ABOUT O2 TOUCH

O2 Touch rugby is a non-contact game - there are no tackles, no scrums, no line-outs, no rucks and no mauls. If you can run a bit and catch a bit then you can play touch. For more information visit the O2 Touch Rugby page on the RFU website:

HOW TO ENTER

Entry fee £60 per team of up to 10 players. All players must be 18 years old or over on the day of the event. Completed entry forms should be returned with payment (cash or cheque) to:

Please make cheques payable to “Rotherham Rugby Club Junior Section”.

If you want to play but don’t have a team contact Paul Rogan. We may be able to put you in touch with other people in a similar situation to allow you to form a team. There is also the possibility of forming “scratch teams” on the day. Individual entry fee is £10 per player.

Updated information and a detailed programme for the event will be sent to the named team contact 1 week before the day of the event.
