Titans link up with Tickets for Troops
Rotherham Titans are both delighted and proud to announce they have forged a link with a scheme that provides tickets to injured and serving armed forces personnel.
The scheme supported is called, Tickets for Troops and Rotherham Titans believes it is an appropriate way of giving something back to the brave men and women whose courage and strength is so valued and respected, as they continue to serve the country on our behalf.
All serving members of HM Forces and all those medically discharged from the Forces since the commencement of military action in Afghanistan in 2001 are eligible to register with Tickets for Troops.
Rotherham Titans look forward to welcoming our heroes to Clifton Lane when the opportunity arises and are sure all supporters of the club will extend the same warm welcome accordingly.
The link with Tickets for Troops follows the recent announcement of collaboration with The Yorkshire Regiment, in setting up a new competition involving the 3 Yorkshire sides in the RFU Championship, for the Yorkshire Regiment Trophy.
Titans find themselves alongside an esteemed array of prominent figures and organisations in their support of this most worthwhile scheme. Tickets for Troops Chairman, Lord Jonathan Marland, paying tribute to the troops said of the scheme, "Tickets for Troops has benefited from a huge wave of generosity from our ticket donors, patrons and advisory board who have wanted to demonstrate their support and appreciation of the dedication and commitment of the marvellous men and women from our forces. I want to pay tribute to our troops who are doing such an extraordinary job during these difficult times."
