Titans add to their backline

Rotherham Titans are pleased to announce winger Curtis Wilson has joined the club on loan for the remainder of the season.

Curtis arrives at Clifton Lane from fellow Championship side Leeds Carnegie and will add to the competition for a wing berth. The 20 years-old London born flyer comes with a reputation of a speedster, who has tremendous footwork and is a quality finisher. Curtis has represented Yorkshire U18s and North of England U18’s.

Titans Head Coach Alex Codling is delighted to have added Wilson to his squad and explained, “I first became aware of Curtis when he was playing for Otley, when I was at Barking three seasons ago. He is currently at Leeds Carnegie and they have kindly let him come here on loan for the rest of the season and I’d like to thank Leeds and Diccon Edwards for their co-operation.

“Curtis has great footwork and he’s a quality finisher; we have really good wingers here at the moment in Mike Doneghan and Peter Homan, but it’s great to have someone of Curtis’ quality to come into the fold.”
