Titans strengthen links with the young people of Rotherham: AESSEAL1

Titans strengthen links with the young people of Rotherham

As a community club, with a strong emphasis on families, Rotherham Titans are always seeking ways in which to attract the young people of Rotherham to Clifton Lane, to watch and get involved in this great sport of ours.

Rotherham Titans are constantly working to forge links and partnerships with local businesses in order for all parties to gain benefit out of the relationship.

One of Rotherham’s most prominent companies is AESSEAL. AESSEAL is one of the world's leading specialists in the design and manufacture of mechanical seals and support systems. Established in 1983, today they have 230 locations worldwide, supplying customers in 104 countries, and employ a global network of sales engineers and technical support specialists.

AESSEAL, who are currently involved with the Titans as a shirt sponsor, recognise the traditional values that a club like Rotherham possess and as such, wish to forge a closer relationship with the club in order to transfer those values into their workforce.

Most people recognise that leadership, motivation, teamwork, hard-work and respect are just a few of the important values that are instilled within the sport of Rugby.

This Wednesday, Titans players alongside Head Coach Alex Codling are visiting AESSEAL offices with the purpose of meeting and sharing common values with the company’s apprentices. AESSEAL’s Modern Apprentice Program is flourishing and the visit of the Titans is a great opportunity for them to inspire; as two winning teams combine to share their great values and commitments as both teams aim to be the best they can.

The link-up on Wednesday between the Titans and AESSEAL coincides with the sixth annual National Apprenticeship Week, which runs from 11-15 March 2013.

Furthermore, Rotherham Rugby Club has put together a great match day offer, not just to AESSEAL apprentices, but to all apprentices in the area.

For the remainder of the season, all apprentices in the area can gain entry into Clifton Lane for just £7. Additionally, if the apprentice brings along their line manager, they too will be admitted into the ground at a discount price of £10, that represents an amazing combined saving of 40%.
