Titans continue to make a difference in schools

Titans Rotherham Rugby Readers Programme continues to thrive as players inspire the young people of Rotherham to improve their performance in school.

Wales High School Senior Teacher, Jamie Taylor explained, “Since January first team players from Rotherham Titans Rugby Club have been at Wales High School working with students in Key Stage 3, as part of the Rotherham Rugby Readers programme.

“The students from Y7, 8 and 9 have been working one on one with first team players Garry Law and Pale Nonu.  The students have received support with their reading and some mentoring on how to improve their performance in school from the professional players.  All the students taking part have thoroughly enjoyed the programme and made excellent progress as a result.”
