Titans strengthen squad for next term

Rotherham Titans have bolstered their squad ahead of the RFU Championship 2013-14 season, with the addition of Sean Scanlon from Munster.

The Limerick-born 24 years-old can play full back or on the wing. Sean has represented his native Ireland at under 19 & 20 levels and has also represented Ireland Club XV.

Scanlon won his Munster cap in December 2011 against Connacht at Thomond Park Stadium, where he scored a try on debut.

Commenting on the addition of Sean Scanlon, Titans Assistant Coach Lee Blackett said, “We are delighted to have captured Sean for next season. He comes here with a fantastic reputation and is highly regarded. He spoke to Sean Dougall over there and I think that helped in his decision making. I believe Sean will be a big hit, both at Clifton Lane and in the Championship and we are looking forward to working with him next term.”
