Live music at the club this Sunday
Rotherham Rugby Club continues to offer its supporters and wider audience the best entertainment around and this coming Sunday 14 July, the popular local band Martin & Friends will be playing live in the clubhouse at Clifton Lane.
All are welcome to come along and enjoy some fantastic musicians going through their repertoire of rock & pop tunes from the 60’s to the present day.
Martin & Friends are four ex-pro musicians who have all been around for forty years and more. The band consists of Martin Toseland: Vocals & Guitar, Mick Drury: Vocals & Bass Guitar, Dave Friskney: Vocals & Lead Guitar, Keyboards, Saxophone, Mandolin, Harmonica and Tom Hirst: Vocals & Drums.
Martin & Friends may have all been around for several decades, but they can still rock better than most bands half their age, and their vocal harmonies are as true as ever.
Admission is free and the bar will be open from 7pm, with the band expected to finish their set by around 11.15pm.
So, if you haven’t seen them yet, round-off your weekend in style at the Home of Rugby!!!
Be there, or be square!!!!!
