Willmott Dixon
Willmott Dixon is the UKs second largest privately-owned capital works, regeneration and support services company.
In capital works, we work with government, local authority and private sector clients, delivering capital projects in education, justice, commercial offices, retail, health and social housing. We also deliver interior design and fit-out on one-off projects or rolling programmes of refurbishment and brand renewal.
In regeneration, we develop complex mixed-tenure projects, often in joint venture with developers, local authorities and RSLs. We also seek opportunities in urban areas and are actively involved in estate renewal as equity partners with private and public sector organisations.
In support services, we deliver a range of planned, preventative and responsive care to property, which includes maintaining 120,000 homes across the UK and providing a fast efficient service to a number of commercial brands.
Our family values and respect for people has seen the business achieve numerous accolades as one of the best places to work in construction, including being the only contractor included in the prestigious Sunday Times Best Companies to Work for list for the past four years.
We see the transition to a low carbon economy as the defining issue of our time and have a commitment to send zero waste to landfill and be a carbon neutral business by 2012. This is being delivered through the company’s Everyone Plays a Part campaign, and we have been a top ten performer in the Sunday Times Best Green Companies list for the past two years.
History Founded in 1852, Willmott Dixon has grown to become one of the country's most recognisable brands for the built environment. Group chief executive Rick Willmott is the fifth generation of the Willmott family to lead the business, aided by some of the industry's most astute business people and supported by a fantastic team across all Group companies.
